Rabobank Indonesia Initiates Development of F & A Entrepreneurs through Postgraduate Scholarship Program

Rabobank Indonesia announced the recipients of the 2010/2011 Rabobank Postgraduate Scholarship on 6 July 2010 at Rabobank Head Office. On that day, Rabobank Indonesia with Bogor Agriculture Institute (IPB) also officially signed the cooperation agreement of this scholarsip award for two SME entrepreneurs in the F & A sector to pursue a master degree in agribusiness management from the Bogor Agriculture Institute (IPB). As seen in the picture, Rabobank Indonesia President Director, Henk Mulder handed over the certificate to the receipients as witnessed by MB-IPB Director Dr. Ir. Arief Daryanto, MEc. The first scholarship’s receiver, Destinal Armunanto (24), runs a company focusing on natural rubber trading located in Tulang Bawang, Lampung. And, Theodorus Widihasto Setyadiwicaksono (29) has been leading the catering service for five years in Bogor where he applies modern management and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Rabobank Indonesia Received Sucofindo Award 2010

PT Sucofindo, an Indonesia inspection company, recently awarded PT Bank Rabobank International Indonesia (Rabobank Indonesia) as the Top 3rd Most Active Bank in 2009 in warehouse receipt financing implementation. Rabobank Indonesia Chief Financial and Risk Officer Geert Embrechts received the award from Sucofindo on 28 April 2010 at Sucofindo Office, Jakarta. Rabobank Indonesia has received this award since 2005. Criterias for this award are based on three aspects; (1) total revenue driven from depositors who do business with the bank as well as quality (of receivables) of the respective depositors, (2) amount of contract/customer per annum, and (3) loyalty (that is how long the relationship has established between the client/bank with Sucofindo)
Rabobank Visits Big Cities in Indonesia for Customer Gathering

Rabobank Indonesia held customer gathering event in Bandung (23/2) , Surabaya (25/2), Lampung (1/3), Medan (4/4), Semarang (9/3) and Jakarta (11.3). This is the first thematic event for this year in accordance with Lunar New Year celebration. Inviting Fengsui experts, Kang Hong Kian to discuss the “Business prospect in the year of Tiger”, this event also presented the launch of Mantap savings. In addition, Rabobank Indonesia also prepared a special promotional program for customers as to collect fresh (third party) funds. In the Q&A session, customers were so enthusiastic in asking prospect of their business view.
